Thanks Sam - I'll bet my local tyre depot will still argue that Cagiva don't reccommend it (but then cagiva don't do anything anymore) they had a hissy when I wanted an 010 on the front with 020 on the rear (the best combination for Raptor in summer) sigh

I have tended to use that combo for years -
010 front and 020 rear on VFR750 - excellent
014 front and 020 rear on CBR1000F - excellent
014 front and 021 rear on CBR1000F and Falco - excellent
then went 021 front and 021 rear
Rear was OK, but funny wear patterns on the front, reported by quite a few other people as well according to bike mags.
Falco front end is not as good as with an 014 and tyre will not last as long.
The BT 021s have not been out that long and I reckon the front was the problem, let's wait and say.
BT 020 and 021 rears have always been excellent.
