Re: any body tied these
I recently had Pilot Road 2CTs fitted. Seem to really suit the Futura - feel much more confident on them than on the Metzelers I once had. Done about 400 miles, mostly dry, and a bit of slow town riding in the wet, so can't really comment yet on how they perform at speed on properly wet roads.fastasfcuk wrote:i'm getting ready for a new rear tyer,2ct's and was quoted £112 fitted to a loose wheel.the guy behind the counter sugested i try dunlop qualifiers, dual compound the same but £175 fitted. but if the rear chews up in 3000 mls money waisted.so as any body tried them and are they any good.

I have the Pilot Power 2ct's fitted to the Tuono and they are the first tyres I've replaced like for like. They are superb in all weathers and inspire confidence on all types of roads
I've heard good things about the Dunlops though , so I really couldn't say one way or t'other but........ that's a huge difference in price. Will they be 57% better than the Michelins??? personally I doubt it.
If you can get 3,000 miles from "any" tyre you're doing well in my book mind!

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!
