Yup... This should be either in Workshop, Bike Chat or Bike Kit...
In line with the 'Lowdown' post in Information Zone, I'll move it to Bike Kit
Now, back on track, I quite like the idea however Im wary that dirt will be forced into the chain parts as much as the chain being oiled.
Dunno.

Good in theory, but shirley some good old fashioned chain lash will have that off in a jiffy. I'll stick with my random-lubing scott oiler

If it works............ great, but I've got the same worries as Sidestand and Pierre.

That's simple Andy, it either cleans it backwards or alternatively it puts the crap back on the chain and cleans the oil off!D-Rider wrote:... and what happens to it when you push the bike backwards?
You may even be able to select which you prefer by snipping a wire on the ECU.

My mate just ordered one and wanted to know if I also wanted one so we could share postage costs. I said no. He will be fitting his this weekend so I will report back after seeing it in real life.

So, my mate fitted this little number and I got to see it tonight. Fitting was easy he said.
It does not look as rude as in the advert links, but it still seems rather flimsy. He has had it "hop" off the chain 3 times since Saturday but he is convinced the problem lies with the chain as its old and has tight spots. He has set his chain tension per the tight spots as you do and this has meant the chain does move too much over the looser spots. He is replacing his chain and sprockets for a Wales trip we are doing next weekend so I will see how it behaves over the 4 days in Wales.
