Best Bike Lift?

My back is killin' me and the winter servicing/modding has just began. Does anyone have any experience with the Bike-Tech Lift or the Sealey 390? Both seem perfect for a home workshop without costing an arm and a leg.

Cheers.

Dunno anything about either of them but can tell you that bike ramps do save a lot of back ache:)

If you know anyone with a Makro card, they are selling one on special offer this week for 40 quid plus VAT - and I bought one last year. I never used it though as I only have V Twins and they are really for in line fours - my mate has mine atm and he loves it

I'd go for a hydraulic bench type instead of a lift ...any bike will fit onto a bench type ...but the lift ones are for Harley/cruiser type bikes with flat sumps or nothing underneath...the lift rests on the two frame downtubes.

I've had a bench one for years and it's one of the best things i've bought! ..everything is so much easier. :smt003

I chose the ramp that operated with a normal two ton trolley jack instead of the built in ram...I knew if the seals went on the ram it was a complete stripdown/new ram seals/oil etc etc :smt010 ....but with the trolley jack type I could just pop down to my local Halfords and buy a new trolley jack for £20 complete with spare seals.

Anyway only my opinion.
