Potentially useful post alert.

I bought a falco fitting kit off here but hadn't used it until today.
Bike is a black framed one built 2003.
Kit is the type that inserts at both ends rather than the one with a cup.
Works great.

Observation, the kwak kit has cups on both ends because the swinagrm bolt is solid. The shove it in kit is easier to use than the cup type kit as it doesn't wiggle about while you're putting the stand together. The cup type is also prone to chipping the paint on the frame round the bolt.

I now return to talking bollocks.
Where ever I lay my hat.....

I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

That would be a bike - bicycle- has two wheels....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Sorry to bump this folks, but have read it several times and unless I'm going nuts, I can't figure out which kit is the double insertion kit and which kit has only one insert and the other is a cup?

I'd prefer to have the two inserts, rather than cup as it sounds more secure etc.

Anyone know which kit is which for definitive? Ie earlier kit (21) is cup, newer kit (32) is double insert, or visa versa?

Cheers all

hi rob

I would call ABBA and ask

they swore blind to me that there were two different versions for the falco as the frame had changed..... tell them escatly which you want and they will oblige

I have used both types with no problems btw

Cheers Aladin. Hope you well. Will give them a bell. On another note, my 9/10 of clutch got a proper ride finally and is slipping when giving it some.Fine commuting, but not on a blast. Seems I may have to try new steels next LOL.
