Some one has dreamt these up in the hope that we'll spend out money on them. Stupid stupid boy!

Won't be much call for them in Yorkshire (or anywhere else in these chilly islands)

I've seen dafter ideas.
Trouble is without vents in the back of your coat for the air to get out again you tend to inflate.

Personaly I like the idea but the graph only shows & couple of degrees drop. Plus most leathers have vents don't they? so theres your exhaust.

I think it a good idea. I used to try to bodge up something similar when touring Greece and Turkey. I didn't want to go the sandals and shorts route so it'd be short gloves, unzipped sleves and unbuttoned collar. I remember Athens was 'kin HOT and virtualy grid locked.

As a design note, with some of us the air could get out around the waist. :smt003

Still I reckon one of the suits you can get these days with 'mesh' pannels would be better; but even more expensive....

Can't remember where I saw it but on the continent you can buy armour suits that look like the old string vests but with all the correct armour incorporated.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

Must just be me then - but I would find most offputting if these things started moving around on my wrists. Hey ho it's good that we're all different................... but they are a bit daft :smt019

Cooling your forearms is definately effective in trying to regulate body temperature. But I can't see these Ventz not interfering with the gloves. Their nicely staged photos are not realistic I fear..
For ventilation I can recommend the Revit Sand jacket, which has nice opening on arms, chest AND back... :smt002 . Pictures:

When in the company of COBs (cantankerous old bastards) life is easier if you phrase every statement as a question.

Yuk, maybe I missed a joke reference or two , but that last picture of a hole in the arm.... not quite what I meant by unzipped sleves

I am eating my words........ having just done a very very hot trip to France and back I would have gladly paid a premium for such things. Sweaty arms sticking to the jacket liner was most unpleasant :smt009

You could have used them at home today Dave, we reached 33 degrees in South Yorks, (and that was degrees C as well!)
