For anyone who's thinking of buying an Optimate, just thought I'd post this link for the

It appears to do what the Optimate does at a lot less money - it certainly revived my dead battery!

That looks suspiciously like an Accumate charger, but without a 6v/12v switch option. Certainly very similar shape. If it is a cut-down Accumate, it should be damn fine. I have two of them (Accumates, that is) and absolutely swear by them.

The fact it has Biketek's 'own label' probably means it comes from some recognised supplier.
