The Scandinavian cowboy parks his horse...

#1 Post by SimonDk » Wed Jun 06, 2012 2:43 pm

[kicks open the doors..]

"Hi ya'll - new in town, have a beer on me! And I'll have one of those pillion / rear seat pads too, please..."
:smt028

My newest steed:

Image

A 2000 with 28.000 km (17 k miles) on it ......

My biking past and present:
First bike was a Virago XV 535 (from age 23-28).
Next Kawasaki ER-6n '07, got stolen last autumn!
This spring I have considered and test ridden: VFR800 pre-vtec and SV650S - I'm sure they're lovely bikes in their own rights that might grow on you, but didn't excite me much.. Fazer FZS600 '03 - very nice, and had that red Falco not been so damn desirable (colour is spectacular IRL!), I would've bought one of those. Street Triple 675 - yes! LOVE IT, but so do their present owners apparently and not willing to part with them. Damn, maybe in another couple o'years.

Cheers!

Howdy Pardner :smt003

I'm guessing from your forum name that the part of Scandinavia you are from is Denmark.

Another Dane on this forum, Martin Poll, has a great website with loads of useful Falco resources:

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Welcome to the asylum. I hope you've got a good credit rating with a steed that looks virtually standard. Not that there's anything wrong with a standard bike, but I'm sure you'll see what I mean once you get to know the place. :smt002
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Welcome :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Welcome to the site Simon. :smt006
Hope you enjoy the bike.
Had mine nearly 8 years now, and it still excites me every time I ride it.
