Raise a glass and toast Mr. Viking Snr.

Hi all,

4 weeks ago today my Dad was killed in a plane crash. So let's raise a glass and toast the memory of the person who got me hooked on motorcycles 20 years ago.

Dad rode a great number of bikes over the years, and to see him on a '74 Bonneville carving up GSX-R / R1 / Fireblade riders was a sight to behold. The same goes for his sidecar riding - there weren't too many 2-wheeled riders who could keep up with him.

I miss you, you crazy old bugger.

Sorry to hear he's gone, Viking ..... sounds as though you have plenty of good memories of him :smt001

At this time of day it'll have to be a coffee I raise to him - but hopefully something more appropriate later.

Will definitely raise a glass later - I like your attitude, to celebrate his life more than grieve over his loss - sounds like you got that from him - was he flying the plane at the time?

Here's to dads!

Sounds like we lost a bit of character. I'll raise a glass or two to mark his passing.

A little late but I shall make up for my tardiness with quantity quaffed. I'm sure the old fella would concur.

Glass raised. There are far too few people like your old man in this world, and the place is all the poorer for their passing.

Sounds to have been an inspiring character, and a hard act to follow.

Here's to you, Mr. Viking the elder!
