Falcopop's ups and downs

#1 Post by Falcopops » Sat Nov 19, 2011 12:50 pm

So an explanation as to my limited visits in the last wee while.

My previous employer and I decided it was time to part company, not wholly unexpected, but never a nice thing. They did ok by me though and gave me a 3 month payout.

Had a week feeling sorry for myself, then did a bit of work for a mate wiring up race bikes (cash in hand, so that kept me in beer money and paid for a new back tire). Had a couple of trips to Melboure to see the kids and have a few fights with the soon to be ex Mrs Falcopops.

Then I thought it would be a good idea to get a job as the kids and soon to be ex Mrs Falcopops live in a fuck off big house that doesn't pay for itself, although the soon to be ex Mrs Falcopops still needs convincing of this.

Spoke to a mate who's a recruitment agent on the Wed, when I got back from Melbourne, had an interview on the Thursday, got a job offer on the Friday, nice.

It doesn't pay as well and I'm not the boss, but at least I'm busy.

So to the ups and downs:-

Somehow I've managed to land a new Mrs Falcopops and she's way too good looking to be going out withthe likes of me, so I've been making the most of it before she figures it out for herself.

Ergo the beers are on me!

PS for those who know who I really am, I've recently changed my facebook pseudonym (Aprilia Falco, how original) to my real name, so look me up and be jealous of life in the tropics. Although it's coming into the wet season, so you might have a laugh.

Sounds like you've landed on your feet mate. Good luck to you.

Now about this new missus of yours. Got any pics? :smt002
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

Hi Dale - you do seem to have had a time of it.

Hope things work out for everyone.

... and in the meantime, I'll join you for a drink ..... it's a while since we were hitting the bars in Durham!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Bloody hell... You don't do things by halves, do you?

Good to hear that you've managed to land on your feet, though. Keep in touch, eh?
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
