I'm so proud of my lovely daughter Rose! She ran the London Marathon today and finished in 5 hours 28 mins - her planned time was 5 hours 30 so she kept it all together!

No Marathon pics yet but this is Rose on an earlier run.

She was feeling fine when I spoke to her about half an hour after the finish but she was obviously still on a high! Bet she's tired and sore now! - but very happy!

1 mile round - that's quite a waist measurement !
I don't think you've quite grasped the kind of training you need to put in for an event like this.

..... 6 foot under might have been more realistic....

I think it's confirmation that a degree of madness runs in the family. :smt002

I'd be proud to think she's a chip of the old block! BTW - she wants to do it again!

Only a degree of madness? I'd call it full blown certifiable!

Brilliantly well done though, She's done what many can't - and to her timings too! Absolutely ace. :smt038

She must be some sort of machine to do that! :smt032

..and yes I did finally find a use for that emoticon. I think, thats the first time it's ever been used...? :smt005
