Hello <wave>
I'm here to find out about Falcos. I'm seriously considering buying myself one as a been riding 25 years present to myself. I've had 15 bikes I think, all of them were bags of shite. Including the current one.
I wanted an R1100s but they wouldn't sell me one because I'd been circumcised.
I'm fat and ugly and can't ride for toffee, but I don't really like Harleys or 'Blades. So I'm thinking Aprilia. A workmate has had a couple and liked them, he's also fat and ugly.
I'm off to be a pain in the Falco forum.
Bye

Hi and welcome
Are you me? (OK I've been riding a few more years, haven't had so many bikes ... blah de blah de blah ....) but fat, ugly and don't like Harleys - you should fit in fine.

Welcome to RS, RS.
Sound like you could be quite a few of us on here.
You should have no major problems with a Falco, mine is just coming up to it's 10th birthday with no major probs and over 40k miles on.
Get one bought, then we can start spending on your credit card for the slight improvement and mega bling that you'll not do without.
Oh, and get in the virtual bar and virtually buy us a drink.

Hello and thanks for the welcome.
I'd get the drinks in, but basically I'm a cheap bugger.
MartDude - I'm the sort of squid who steals old acronyms off usenet. Stupidly Quick Underdressed Inevitably Dead. I'm none of the above it just tickled me.
BikerGran - I've already got one more Kawasaki than any sane person should own. I'm torn between the urge to mother it or smash it to bits with a big hammer, set fire to it and then bury the remains under the patio.
I think a Falco is more or less inevitable now. But I wouldn't throw money at it. Just shock, bellypan, stand, tail tidy, indicators, exhaust...

Hi RS - as others have said, sounds like you've found your spiritual home.
Falcos are great. As standard they're better than 95% of bikes out there, and at the price they go for, they're a bargain. It's almost shameful, really. And then there's the seemingly endless upgrade potential they offer.
Are you tired of life, my son? Buy a Falco.
Welcome.

Hi Randomsquid, I think the above statement will come back to haunt you should you ever get a Falco. They don't need any modification, but I bet it will get some.randomsquid wrote:I think a Falco is more or less inevitable now. But I wouldn't throw money at it. IMO you should save your money for diet pills and beauty treatments.
You will see from my avatar that I'm clearly the prettiest on this site, hence the reason for the attractive photo of my bottom so as to not give the others and inferiority complex.
