Haven't been in the bar for a while so just thought I'd pop in for a virtual drink and if anyone wants to join me feel free :smt002

Think I'd better stick to coffee - the number of bottles we have to go to recycling is amazing!

As it's only virtual it won't add any to the (already too much) red wine I've already consumed tonight.

So - a bottle (of Chateauneuf du Pape) in front of me or a frontal lobotomy!

With apologies to Ian Dury R.I.P.

Nope
I never have time off work as I hardly ever get sick and soldier on through when I do -but today I feel so crap I'm staying home.

Hope you feel better soon .... though if women develop symptoms like these I don't know how we will tell when they are awake and when they are asleep ......

Mine is of the liquid codeine variety and a cup of warm blackcurrant squash... I, like D-Rider, am also unwell... terrible lower back pain since New Year's Eve (no, I didn't play drunken twister... this started the morning before!).

lower back pain and been drinking too much booze??

so long as you are not on warfarin, or allergic to it, get a couple of glasses of cranberry juice drunk - then drink lots of fluids....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

It occurred before too much booze... I think it may be due to playing guitar for a couple of hrs the night before with por posture... will crack open a new carton of cranberry... can I add vodka?!

actually yes LOL

a lot of lower back pain that is internal - ie not spine related, can be down to kidneys objecting due to dehydration and low grade infection....

cranberry juice is as effective as some antibiotics in a high amount of infections - ie, take it to stop an infection

and aching kidneys can be caused by dehydration full stop - hence the extra fluids
