Welsh newbie

Hi to all, drinks are on me. Although not yet an owner wanted to say hello as I am actively looking for a Falco. Not in any mad rush but would be happy to consider any Falco's folk have in mind to flog. Very lucky man as I reside in beautiful North Wales. Enough said...

'Lo Boof, Welcome to the Site (and more importantly the bar)
JD please!

You're in the right place to pick up a decent falco, there's a couple kicking about for sale I think, as well as a wealth of knowledge on the subject of Falcos and Aprilia V Twins to help you with your search for the one thats right for you.

Hi Boof and welcome to the site, mine is a pint of the Old Peculir please.

Hick, thats the second one tonight.

You'll not go far wrong with a Falco.
Just seen one on here somewhere, an early red one with 28k on the clock.
Don't let the milage put you off, it sounds as if it's been looked after.
Mine has over 40k on with no major trouble in going on for 10 years of ownership.

Welcome to Ridersite / ApriliaRidersite - and you won't go far wrong with a Falco.

Yes, must remember we do have the full range of V's on the Site. If I was in North Wales I think I'd go for an RSV, it's not like you need to tour to get to the decent roads.. :smt003

..... so says cheeky moped-man .....

as you know, there are more than a few Falcos here that will out-handle and show a clean pair of heels to those ugly RSVs with their huuuuuuge side-mounted dustbin attachments that they feed the exhausts into

Not that I've anything against those RSV donor-machines (well the R versions anyway)

no idea why but rather fancy a black sheep please.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

:smt005 Indeed there are a few that can and do, but im sure if the same value of fettling were given to an RSV, it would shrug off the advances of a Falco in flight.. :smt002

Whether theyre ugly is one for personal opinion, but I will give you that the dustbin strapped to the side is probably uglier than the wheelbarrow handles grafted onto the collector pipes of a Falco.. :smt002

I still want to get an RSV, despite being subjected to the droves of nice Falcos on the Site!

..even if it would have to be an RSV4 so I dont have to tiptoe at the lights..

got some new stilts tim?

the milles are ok..... just uncompromising and nowhere near as practical as our falcos....

and the local mille owners lover my wheel barrow exhausts.... they often get to look at them from behind....

Welcome to the site Boofbee. Good luck with the search and let us know how you get on. Loads of very good and reliable advice on here. Once youve got the bike the spending really starts. :smt001
