I'd hoped to keep things quiet but it seems that I've got to attend the Podium Ceremony, Press Conference and host an open bar ....

...... and I guess I'd better add a selection of nibbles too as I've not done my duty for last month either :smt053

Anyway - Press Statement:
It was a tough campaign - My fellow competitors have made it very tough and put on a great show for the spectator (Gio). I was pushed all the way by Casey Samray until he cracked under the pressure and binned it again. I would like to thank my pit crew, sponsors and the factory who have pulled together to make this possible.
We may not have had the ultimate top speed of some of the other competitors but the consistency of the team has counted for so much.
I look forward to the next campaign but know it will be tough as I will have to miss several rounds.

Anyway, enough of that .....

a quaffers portion of spitfire please :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Damn I'd forgotten about that series, bloody funny, but can't get it here.

Hey Ho! pot of VB please.

A pot in Aus is a normal measure here, it's very small, probably less than half a pint. However if you;ve ever tasted VB you'd ve very glad of the small measures :smt011

No wonder you won, if you'd got a Pit crew, Sponsors and a whole Factory answering with you.

Well done, i'll have a pint of the Old Peculiar please.
