Family is complete!

#1 Post by Yam » Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:11 pm

After hankering after a doggie for the past 8 years, (some of your may have heard me bemoan my dogless state!) we've finally got one :)

She's an oldish german shepherd from a local dog pound which we kept visiting and taking her out for a few walks before eventually taking the plunge.

The house (and my lovely car!) has now been taken over by doggie toys, beds, bowls, fur! But it's all worth it as she's beautiful and now has a big happy grin on her face as have I and the hubbie as he's just as soft on her as I am.

Isn't life brilliant? Feel free to have a drink on us :D

It's a very nice doggie, BG - I don't think you could do anything to make her cross (you can say what you want about her too, she's deaf ... :smt017 ).

Another bonus is she doesn't like pizza so i've got one all to myself (and some stonkingly good cider) as we're having a girls weekend while Mr C is away for the weekend. Obviously I don't give the dog cider as that would be just wrong ... she's on a Bud tonight :)

:smt003 my collie cross (no BG tis just another way of saying 'a mongrel thats more collie that anything else') loved Baileys - but only the one - since she fell off the bar stool when they gave her a double :smt048
