just another bloody Falco

#1 Post by k1w1boy » Wed Mar 12, 2008 8:21 pm

hi. recently 'converted' to Falcodom after my shabby but loud and loveable Firestorm was pinched at Christmas. :smt010 Got me an 02 with 25k on it and most of the tasteful extras people fit already fitted: MTC pipes, braided front hoses, hugger, bellypan, front mudguard extender, k&n air filter and of course it's derestricted :smt003 It's got barely a scratch on it - an absolute steal for just shy of three grand, and from a dealer with a warranty and everything too.
Would love to see another Falco or two in the flesh so to speak - if anyone's within cooee of London let me know.

Welcome to the site - I assume you're buying? Mines a vodka & red-bull (need the caffeine!).

Looks like you've got plenty of toys on your new Falco - but we'll rack up your credit card bills for other bits if you let us!

Hi K1w1boy, hope you enjoy the new bike, sounds like a bargain.

Be interested to know what you think of it in comparison to the Honda.

Yeah - welcome

Hope the scumbag that nicked your Firestorm has inadvertently done you a favour .... now that you've got yourself a Falco.

As Dale says it will be interesting to hear how they compare.

..... and I'll have a pint of 6X please :smt003

Nice to see you took my advice and joined us. :smt006
Sorry that you had your last bike stolen, it's a real pain that takes time to get over.
You've chosen a great bike to replace it with, I think you will find it more fun than the Firestorm, which in itself is a nice bike, but you'll certainly get better tank range out of the Falco!
Iv'e had mine for almost 4 years and it's the best bike I've ever had, and in my case it's also been the most reliable.
I've had quite a few Hondas in the past, still have an old CBR1000, but never loved any of them like the Falco.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine.
There's lots of people here to offer help, or just help you spend your money!

who let all the bleeding colonials in?

welcome, nice choice of bike, shame it is a slow colour but I am sure you will like it all the same....

welcome aboard and pint of spitfire for me

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
