Welcome ....back!
11 years between posts? That deserves some sort of recognition.

11 years?! sheeeeet!
Was here all the time in the early noughties. Was called DrCalculus (or DrC) for most of it. Was a good little community. Hope you can get that back.

I remember that handle! Blimey, I think I also remember the avatar too... a tin-man like character from a futuristic cartoon show... or something! Cripes, I don't even remember my own!Pussyhorse wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 11:51 amWas here all the time in the early noughties. Was called DrCalculus (or DrC) for most of it.

Blast from the past. Yep, correct on both counts. Hope life's been treating you well. :)

Hello Rab, long time and glad you're back
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

I remember both those names! Think we may have met at a RiOT event....

Re: old newb
Sadly not. I put a lot of miles on that trike before I had to give up - France, Shetland (I cheated for that one and towed it to Edinburgh). Two bad hips and a dodgy diff stopped me riding a few years ago, gone to the dark side now with a VW campervan. TBH I don't think I'd want to ride again now in spite of having new hips, I've got used to not being cold or wet or battling wind! I had 20 great years, met a lot of great people from many and varied sides of biking, still in touch with quite a few of them thanks to the dreaded Farcebook.
I definitely remember the toxic bike and the Daft Hat rally! Hammy and Woody and whoever getting caught in a speed trap right outside the campsite!

Fair play BG. Age catches up with us all.
I just got around to getting my car test last year. Baby steps. :)

My son in law never got his till my daughter insisted - think he may have been 37. Now over 50 and he's a LandRover fanatic. Still got his bikes though.
