She was my music teacher in high school.
Re: Deja Vue
Katana - She missed her vocation as an English lit teacher.
Riceburner - Hello there, hope life has treated you well. If your still riding, what an earth could follow the idiosyncratic BMW rockstar, I have been trying to guess?

Re: Deja Vue
hehehe - a subject that occupied my mind quite a lot while I was travelling last year!
I ended up with a K12R in 2017 after blowing up Rockster 3, and, while it's an excellent bike - I never really gelled with it.
So - first thing I did when I got from travels was buy another Rockster. :D
Re: Deja Vue
Pleased for you, a man who knows what he likes and likes what he knows ( or something like that, usually applied to an MP caught doing some( thing |one ) they really shouldn't ).RiceBurner wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 9:06 amhehehe - a subject that occupied my mind quite a lot while I was travelling last year!

The only problem these days is that the R1150R engines are getting tired. but they're still plenty quick enough for road-riding.
Re: Deja Vue
The new 1250 is an absolute belter. Its ruined me to be frank. I just wont ever need another bike.RiceBurner wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 1:26 pm

My Brother has the GS, and yes, they're a superb machine. I hope they are as long-lived as they are fast!DPG wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 9:31 pmThe new 1250 is an absolute belter. Its ruined me to be frank. I just wont ever need another bike.RiceBurner wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 1:26 pm

Re: Deja Vue
I can't see Riceburner on a GS, wouldn't he need a ladder?
I can remember trying to sit on his bike at the Black Swan, was way too small for me
BTW back in those days I was Twizzle, so maybe that might help.

I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
Re: Deja Vue
Ah, Wotcha Twizzie. Daymo the Onion here. Ricey's not *that* short. Unless he's shrunk. Ricey? You been on a hot wash?
Re: Deja Vue
He was shorter than me (6' 6" in those days)

Re: Deja Vue
At 6'6" even *I'd* be shorter than you!
Re: Deja Vue
Think most would be.
I'm now 6' 3" worn out the cartilage.
