Green Beer

#1 Post by MarkJones108 » Wed Jun 05, 2019 9:23 pm

Good evening,

Now, not sure if anyone will remember - it looking back, probably 20 years....

Does anyone else remember buying green beer from the BMF at Peterborough showground?

If you do remember, can you also remember who made it, and if there was any specific flavour (hoppy, mellow, light, bitter etc)?

Many thanks.

Because it was beer :smt030

I remember it being a good pint too - think it was just coloured, but would like to know more.

I was going to say green beer cant be wrong, look how many 'Irish' americans drink it on St Patrick's day, but then I realised to the irony of the statement... :smt082

I think that's probably the strangest post I've ever seen on RiderSite - which is saying something!

Can't guarantee it but I think Shepeard Neame used to do a green beer, something to do with the hop colour.

I spent several years working on a hop farm in Herefordshire ...
