I've been. I've seen. I've driven. What an amazing place! To help ease the adrenaline that is still pumping around my system, I'll ask all of you to join me for a few jars. One of the things said to me was "It's your first track day here? Good luck. Not many people are that brave/stupid" What a rush!

Sit down and sup this... Oh. I'll get you a straw cos your hands are shaking.

I was shaking like a shitting dog when I came back into the paddock after my first drive around it. What a place! Can 100% say I've never done anything like that before.. I fear I now have something frequent visitors call "Ringworm".

Well done mate, been there, done that twice, shit myself both times.
It's an absolutely amazing place isn't it (albeit slightly mental with that many people on it at once), and the local roads are just as good as the track.

I've wanted to go for years, but I think it'd be a suicide mission for me lol as I only want to do it on a bike.

I did it on a bike both times and it is scary as hell. Both times I just wanted to get it over and done with so went out about an hour into the session, if you wait for a bit longer towards the last hour of the session it gets quieter, but the guys on there are going a lot faster.

I went as part of a two day organised track day event. There wasn't many among us whom were complete novices. The last hour of each day was absolutely mental with pretty much everyone out on track. Come and go as you pleased and go around as many times in one sitting. Not like the TF where it's one lap and you're done.. Those doing flying laps didn't half get a lick on!
The little car we had topped out at 220kph, which is around the 140mph mark.. That's fair plenty when your daily driver is a VW van!

Hahaha, no, just opening the door to the 40's luckily.
I think it'd be quite funny to see you go round there

No need to duck, I thought it myself!
I never really got a chance to ride fast - partly cos I never had a fast bike but that was possibly just as well cos I didn't start riding till I was 48. But the scariest thing I ever did was ride the mountain on Mad Sunday. I did it later in the day so there was less traffic, and on my old GT550 I was just about the slowest thing on the road, but it was still just about the most amazing ride ever - partly because there's no let-up, it just keeps coming at you!
But I would have liked to ride fast on a fast bike.
