A Good Day

#1 Post by Willopotomas » Mon Apr 06, 2015 8:21 pm

Took the Futura for a new set of boots earlier and had the suspension tweaked for my bulk at the same time. Well, she's a totally different beast now! Much more flickable in the bends and a lot more confident in general. Noyce.

Day is done. Long weekend is done. Bars open for a night cap. :smt002
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I'll drink to that cos I had a good day too! Cured the front end wobble on the trike - the one it didn't have before it went to a bike shop to have new fork seals. I thought maybe they hadn't know they need to be a bit tighter on a trike - nope, not that - they were just damn LOOSE!

And took it out for a test ride of 16 miles - doesn't seem much but it's my first time out since October and specially since my heart attack in January!

Hope you took good note of my son's (Daniel) Burgman while you were there - in for a service, sort out the fuelling and then along to Pete's for an MOT.
I haven't got time to sort it this year.

Good for you, BG! Nothing quite like a bike/trike ride to make you feel alive!

Not just a good day but a great weekend. My grandson's first birthday and his first bike. A big family bash and then a nice potter on the bike then in the garden. Spring feels sprung and life feels good.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today
