New job, so beers all round!

#1 Post by Falcopops » Tue Jun 10, 2014 3:06 am

Been unemployed for a while since last september or october, can't recall really.

Wasn't much work in my field going so buggered about with motorbikes and such to supplement my income (but don't tell anyone :smt002 ).

This job came up and although I fall short in the professional qualifications dept. I chucked my CV at it and breezed in, even with a really crappy reference from my previous employer who I parted with on much less than friendly terms. Apparently telling the business owner to get f****d doesn't go down too well.

So enjoying the new job and carving out my niche and its nice to have some disposable cash.

Ergo beers are on me.

P.S. I'm working for the Government and if I tell you what I do I'll have to kill you, so don't ask.

I'm a spy, a mince pie. geddit?

Should have moved to Lincolnshire, there's a real shortage of scarecrows at the moment. Even a call for scarecrow spies to warn us yellow bellys when the Yorkies are invading! :smt003
Pleased you've got something now though. A pint of the black stuff ta. :smt023

Pint of wife beater

And cheers !

Congrats!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Congrats, Dale! That's excellent news.

I'll have a pint of Theakston's best, thanks. And cheers!!
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
