MOT Drinkies

I was hoping to get my MOT done on Friday but with no slots available I had to bring it forward to today ..... so not really much opportunity to prep it as I would like.

Anyway, it sailed through.

I guess "sailed" is the operative word as the journey to and from the MOT would have been more appropriately undertaken by jet-ski.
Once again last autumn's investment in Gortex jacket and trousers was really appreciated ..... why on earth didn't I invest in it before?!

Hardly seems believable that I've had the Falco 9 years now.

Drinkies for MOT pass and the bike's 9th birthday are available at the bar,

Well done...

My first ride this year yesterday on my Falco too - felt DAMN good.

Tea-total at the moment as my leathers seem to have shrunk a little!!!

Maybe a cappuccino :smt003

Can we assume from this your vertigo has abated? Sincerely hope so.

Anyway, congrats to the Falco for doing its bit; I'm sure you had nothing to do with it :smt002

A little shot of grappa to accompany my bedtime decaff would be most appreciated, ta very much.

It's a bit "karma chamaeleon" at the moment (it comes and goes, it comes and goes).

Mainly good at present but don't yet have full confidence for long trips

Well done Andy!
We must love these bikes to keep them so long.
I will have owned mine for 10 years at the end of July, when I bought it off eBay, although I actually picked it up on the 1st of August 2004.
It has passed every test first time and never even had an advisory. The tester has never even noticed the EU headlight, which I only found when I checked the write up that you did some years ago, still not got around to changing it! (I always prepare it well and the tester likes the bike nearly as much as me, so that might help. He has been riding nearly as long as me and has some really nice bikes, including a superb classic Moto Morini 500 V Twin and a 500 Gold Star.).
Did around 150 miles on the Falco today and still love it to bits, suppose we are both growing old together gracefully, (well at least the Dark Side is).
Nice to hear that you are a bit better and getting out more on the bike.
