Yes doesn't seem possible but I have just been informed that Keefy Boy is likely to become Grand Dad Keef end of March.
My eldest will be taking a little career brake as she takes on motherhood. Had a meal and drinks with mum and dad to be last night. So better carry on getting used to the idea this evening.

Congratulations Keef
You'd better start stocking up on moth-balls, peppermints and Werthers as you get into the role.

Nope - Grandfatherhood is not on the horizon in this household.
I have no need of such accessories.

Thank you all.
I'm sure I still know how to wield a baby wipe which if I recollect is the one essential accessory. I've got a year or so to brush up on my story telling skills. Tales of the heroic Forum Rider's adventures and other such bollox, should get 'em off to sleep ok.

Sorry about the belated reply Keith, (been busy packing etc.), my congratulations to all.
May need to get a Steib sidecar fitted to one of the BMWs, any kids would love a ride out in that when they get a bit older!
Seem to remember I did, very many years ago.

We grew up in some thing not as elegant as a Steib strapped to the side of an ES2. In fact I was discussing this with the mother to be, but directed at the previous owner of the Granddad title. That is my dad who keeps asking that I take him for a ride. The ride itself would not be a problem but getting him on and off would be, so hence the thoughts of a side car.
Problem with that is I've only ever driven one once and that being a Ural, didn't make me inclined to do it again...
Still there was a nice R69 with chair on e-bay starting around 4K....
(likely not to go unless the bidding gets nearer 10)
