Drought over

The employment drought, that is.
Starting my new job on Monday morning; was invited to apply, which was quite gratifying.
It's a lovely 27-mile-each-way commute, on country A-roads, so another bike may be on the agenda (don't want to put the miles on the Futura, although I'm sure it would cope); contemplating, at the moment, a TDM or Versys
After nearly a year of fruitless job-hunting, and rapidly approaching 60, I'd come close to giving up hope of working again.
So, ladies and gents, the bar's open, there's plenty of ice in the fridge, drinks are on me, and the landlord says we can have a lock-in. I'm kicking off with a large, very cold, gin & tonic.
