And now drinks are on me from France...

#1 Post by mangocrazy » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:16 pm

Nothing as upmarket as Howard's palace in Cyprus, I'm afraid . No, this is from my moneypit in the Languedoc. We had an 11 hour drive through France in the van today with assorted building materials, for the most part in pissing rain, so really glad to be out of the driving seat and sat in a comfy chair.

A pizza and salad has just been dispatched, and we're now starting on a bottle of red, so things are definitely on an upward curve.

There's a tab open behind the bar, so get stuck in.

And while you're there, raise a glass to my (motorcyclist) next door neighbour who allows me to piggyback on his Wi-fi so I can keep in touch with the outside world. Top bloke!

That sounds like a good enough reason to raise a glass of red with you Graham.

Cheers!

Enjoy your working holiday, hope it all goes well.

Bon chance!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
