A glass raised

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Sun Mar 31, 2013 11:36 pm

I'd just like to take a little time to salute Ligloo, who as you will have probably seen here: https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.php?t=11006 has passed away.

To know Ligloo was a genuine honour and im so very proud to say I knew Lisa Glew as a friend. I hadn't realised they made auld scottish wimmin in 'cute' til she came along.
A wonderful woman who loved RiderSite and the people therein.

I wont prattle on any more but I wanted to mark the passing of our Ligs.

Miss you, Ligloo. x

Glass of Islay malt raised to you, you scottish chook raising fruitcake.. Rest Painless, Lisa.

I'll drink to that. I didn't know her personally, but she was some character on the forum.

RIP you crazy Jock! :smt002

I posted in the other thread but I'm not missing out on the chance to drink to her memory.

Those late night messaging sessions ....... haha they were funny - especially the three-way ones with her and Sam. Both gone now - guess I'll have to talk to myself.

Thanks for bringing a spark into our sometimes mundane lives Lisa.

I'll raise a glass or 3 to Lisa. Never really knew her that well, never met her in person, but even just going by her posts it was obvious that she enjoyed life and lived it to the full. Terrible shock, happening so suddenly.

I bet Sam's getting an earfull even as we speak...

Definitely raising a glass to Ligloo - it ought to be Voddy but red wine will have to do! Somehow I missed the phone calls but we had some heart-to-hearts at RS meets, she was nutty and great fun but had her serious side too.

Here's to you Ligs - hope there's voddy in heaven!

I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
