#1 Post by flatlander » Fri Nov 09, 2012 8:56 pm

Hopefully Pete will be along shortly with the irrefutable proof that the aforementioned Sam is still watching over you to make sure you are ok

updated link

Hopefully you'll agree its in the best possible taste and a nice way to recall others who have not been in the bar for a while

Apologies if I'm wrong and if so then delete away but it seemed like a nice idea

So a round on me to those I have known that have done me good

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

S'funny how things work.. I got a letter today.. big one, all the way from Tennessee...

I've been given membership of the Tennessee Squire Association.. wholly unannounced, out of the blue.. the person who recommended me for it? Mr Jasper Newton... who is also referred to as Jack Daniel..

That old sod and him are clearly sat up there in the angel's roost devising ways of shocking and surprising.

The old boy'll be smiling that he still raises a thought now and again!
