Get the bloody beers in

For those who are not aware Martdude turned eleventy today

Cheapskate bastard has been hanging around nasty hobbits with short arms and deep pockets and neglected to open the tab.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

He's probably gone Back To The Futura ..... though even if he's ridden the 2-wheeled-time-machine back to 1955, he'll still be of pensionable age ........

OK, bit late turning up, thanks for keeping a bar stool warm for me. I've negotiated a lock-in, so the bar's open & all on me.

And no, I'm not eligible for a free bus pass yet.

I'll have a tea please

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone; gives one a nice warm glow.

Celebrated by starting an abortive attempt to fit the new fuel pressure regulator on the BMW - abandoned 'cos the original vacuum line turned out to be perished, & the silcone hose I'd got for the Fut was too big. Ordered some narrower hose yesterday afternoon, arrived earlier today, so will be continuing the operation shortly.

Followed by a dinner of a decent Shiraz rose for starters, a DOCG Chianti Rufina, & a Rheinhessen Spatlese for afters, accompanied by venison steaks, in a wild mushroom & madeira sauce, then a sherry trifle, with glowsticks for candles. Party hats made from glowsticks as well.

Should have had a Lacrima Christi with the deer meat, or if you really want to push the boat out a 1995 Barola (one of the best years thats ready to drinkm, the 2005 is not ready yet imo)
