Time for a lock-in I reckon.

Time for a lock-in I reckon. :smt003
I feel I'm on a long slippery slope travelling at an ever increasing velocity, but fortunately (or not) the slope keeps getting longer.
Whatever, still seems like time for a drink.
Since I've already thrown the plans for a Samray Memorial Meet into disarray it has been mooted that we hold a Samray Farewell Meet instead. I understand Pete has a suitable site available in Norfolk and is looking at a date sometime at the beginning of September. I'll let him take over the RO&E post.
Meantime, that drink .....
Cheers. :smt020

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Excellent - a meet with you still here would be much better than a meet to drink to your memory (which we can still do whenever the time is right).

I'm already booked in for the Goodwood Revival on 14th Sept so hope it doesn't clash with any event - but if it does I can probably get there for some of it.

I guess your mission to prove therapeutic powers of JD is really going quite well - keep up the research.

am looking at http://www.outneymeadow.co.uk/

they have 20 spots currently available

I was thinking that the saturday night would be quite a cool time for folk to swarm by.... and the die hards can come over on the friday evening to make a week end of it.

the campsite is very close to the centre of bungay - like maybe a half mile - assorted pubs and food outlets - i.e., keep the organisation to a minimum and grab a takeaway

naturally enough I will be on hand for the logistical stuff

I stress its very early days as it has only just been mooted....

For the JD expert, its about 8 miles from Samray Towers :)

I have left a message for the owners...

Feck it. make it a quadruple. it gets clearer after a few of them... :smt002

I'll drink to Sam whatever the occasion!

7-8-9 Sept would be good for me as I've just had an event cancelled.

just checking with the camp site - always pays to let people know in advance if 10 plus folk are going to turn up on bikes anywhere....

i will also chat with samray, and make him promise not too turn his toes up at an inopportune time....
