steve also sent me the list of work done:
Machine collected as requested.
Carried out ECU diagnostics but no faults recorded.
Checked machine to see if is working.
Appears ok as all plugs are firing.
Checked fuelling and pump pressure, varying at random intervals.
Bled fitting on fuel rail and machine now starts and runs.
Test rode but machine not cred and still tries to cut out.
Stripped fuel pump from machine for investigation.
Checked inline fuel filter.
All parts of pump appear to be working as required.
Refitted into tank and checked for leaks. None found.
Checked all throttle body connections and fittings, replaced small section of link pipe that was perished and split.
Rechecked throttle sync and all appears to be fine.
Refitted all removed parts to machine and test rode. All now working as required. Advisory, airbox has several bolts missing.
i suspect that the fuel lines / filter were routinely blown through and cleaned as well

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Yeah, £125 all in. Collection as it was local was only £10. I am very pleased with the service I received apart from the missing airbox bolts as I told them they were loosely fitted after myself and Pete had a play. I reckon they got her running and took her for a run where a couple of the bolts went awol. But, excellent service all in all and very reasonable. Good to be back on her too
Of course you dont look fat on a Falco!
