Well done Pete, not easy to achieve a shift like that these days.
Hope the new job goes well, is it in the same line or something different?

slightly different - the unit is for young physically disabled - over 30 years old

I am also able to say that it is for a company that have had some issues..... their very own panorama special - but since then they have had a total change of management and I am a part of that

The new MD took over and the person I am replacing left about 2 weeks later - with immediate effect, paid off for 3 months..... read into that what you will

the challenge is not financial this time, rather it is a care related challenge - to raise the standard and approach to care
(in other words, the staff will look after people properly, or i will help them to sign on....)

my current boss is well pissed off - my budgeted profit was 1350 per month with and ebitda of around the same - I have averaged an ebitda of 20,000 and monthly profit of 15,000..... can't imagine why he is pissed!

I am looking forward to doing some nursing and teaching again

That sounds really interesting Pete.
As I said earlier, hope it all goes well, as for the old Boss.

so ............. as it 'appens, in taking over this role, will you also be clothed in dodgy track-suits, picking up the DJ duties and hosting a TV show called "Pete'll Fix It" ?

Nice score Pete and vindication.

Admirable new job too by the sound of it, I have the feeling you'll be good at it and help improve your patients quality of life.

I'll have a pint of GnT please, too bloody hot to drink beer.
