Back home and drinks are on me.

#1 Post by HowardQ » Wed Jan 11, 2012 1:14 am

Got back home Sunday evening after a great holiday, never even saw a cloud never mind rain. I was praying for better weather when I got back as the Kwack needed testing by the 14th.
Weather at home changed and we got a nice day yesterday, so got it down to the tester and it sailed through, so the drinks are on me to celebrate.
As I was geared up and on the bike I popped down for a little run to Newark to celebrate, (first time out since mid November time).
Hope it stays decent as can't wait to get out for a longer run on ther Falco this weekend.

Is this one missing a punch-line (unless that is what we are drinking)?

could be age related andy.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Not sure why I posted it here and not in the bar as I thought I had, (but it was late!).
Yes Pete you are probably quite right, sadly!
As of 12 days ago I can no longer sing the old Beatles song "When I'm 64"

As unfortunately I have already reached that qualifying age. :smt009

Sounds good enough reason for another round. :smt020

Suppose that's fair, a round for the Kwack passing it's MOT then an open bar for anybody that wishes to "celebrate" with me?? (What's to bloody celebrate?)
But only if you move me and this post into the bar why I should have been when I posted it.

Neither is dislexia I meant to type the Rossi number 46 honest.
How did I get that wrong? :smt017

Come on Pete I've had one of them for 4 years and actually used it twice.
Then again I had one for 15 years when I worked for South Yorks PTE and only ever used that one twice as well.
In the last 37 years I think I have been on two trams and three buses.
That's at least 2 too many. :smt003

I qualify for one of those but have never seen the ppoint of applying for it.

I wasn't bothered but my wife Terri applied for it for me, as she still works at South Yorks P.T.E..
