i think only one company ?michelin? allows their tyres to be plugged....

a friend of mine will do mine BUT only unofficially if that makes sense


Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Thanks for the pointers/contact for 'unofficial' fixes. Confirmed that it's not necessarily illegal to back up what u say - just some places don't have the appeal for responsbility should any ill effects occur/.... go bang?? Basically I was too quick to dismiss z-type - [guy in garage not 'bulling']

Found a friendly garage in fulham arches just down the road from me. Very handy as I could literally walked it there. Didn't hesitate and just plugged it and all fine it would seem.
