Snecklifters all round

#1 Post by nicketynoo » Thu Jun 27, 2013 9:34 pm

Hope you will all join me in a couple of snecklifters ,since I have officially just re-claimed my life.
I lost it around 5 months ago when I decided to buy my brother out of my late dads house in order to do it up for rental. It really just needed modernising but what I originally thought would take me a couple of months to complete has dragged on much longer.
I've replaced the bathroom added new worktops to the kitchen and utility along with new wall and base units and decorated every room. I've also ripped the old asbestos garage down and have got a new concrete sectional one arriving on monday.
I've spent many long days there and I'm totally knackered , been working shifts then going straight to the house and spending hours on end there. I completed the decorating by fitting the last piece of wallpaper at 21:12 tonight and I can tell you its a weight off my mind, my tenants are moving in on saturday and I collected my first months rent and the bond today therefore have what you like from the bar.
By the way I was actually born in this House so felt I just had to keep it.
can now go to Blinkeys mid year meet and relax.

Sounds like you've earned another one or two at least. I'll have a Perlenbacher to keep you company.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

I'll be glad to lift a sneck with you.

Well done with all the hard work and look forward to a good return on your investment of time, effort and cash.

Cheers!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I think we will have a couple of real ones at the meet and not virtual. I think you have earned it. :smt030

Nice. :smt004

You now get to enjoy that satisfying feeling of having completed a long job and being able to get your life back to normal. :smt003

Drinking to that!
